Pastor, our nation is in trouble. Mass shootings, political hatred, the Opioid drug epidemic, the LGBTQ uprising, the breaking apart of the American family, an education system that is so broken, parents are afraid to send their children to school, a young generation of whom only 4% say they are born-again believers in Jesus… and the list goes on and on. Fewer people than ever before are attending the local church.
For every church we open in America, we close 2. The message of the gospel has become confused, irrelevant and diluted.
Thom Rainer says, “Most evangelism has become humanitarian in effort. We hand out backpacks when kids go to school, we give out hot dogs and cotton candy at our church events, we house people when they are homeless and we feed people when they are hungry. We should do all of these things. However, we are not sharing a clear gospel message with this culture. The church is diminishing and the population is growing. The gap is widening.” The only way to reverse this is to teach, train and mobilize our people to share a clear gospel with our communities. What can we do to turn the tide of moral and social relativism?

What is the schedule for the Right To Invite Weekend?
Right To Invite Weekend Overview (schedule):
- Friday Night – Holy Spirit Encounter Service
- Saturday Morning – Community Outreach
- Sunday Morning – Invite Service
- Sunday Night – Drama ‘Unfinished: Unmasking the Message of the Cross’
—Friday night begins with a Holy Spirit encounter service. It is a focus for a direct hope for people to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. It usually lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours in length. Jesus said, “after that the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth.” The Friday night service is a hope to fuel up for the Saturday morning outreach.
—Saturday morning is a community outreach. We usually meet from 9:30a.m.-10a.m. to pray and get last minute instructions. Then, from 10a.m.-12p.m., we visit local businesses with a small gift. We go offering gratitude for the services they offer to the community, the people they employ, what they do to help the economy in that community and a thank you for just being a part of the community. We usually take bags of candy with an attached card advertising the ministries of the church. It could be a gift basket or a sandwich bag with Hershey’s kisses. It is not the gift that touches the hearts of those we visit, as much as it is the effort that smiling faces bring into the local businesses. It has been enormously successful in communities all across the nation.
—Sunday morning is our INVITE SERVICE. This is an effort for every member of the church to invite at least one person for the Sunday morning service. Every believer can do this. They do not need to bring five or ten people, although that would be amazing. They simply need to bring one. This is so doable for every member of the church. If every person brings one person to the Sunday morning invite service, it creates an environment that is electrifying. We are seeing so many people come to faith in Jesus for salvation. This is a dynamic gathering that people remember for a very long time. It is a hope that if they can invite one person for this special weekend, they can do this every weekend and help fill the house of God, and build the vision of their pastor in their church. It breeds expectation for the altars to be filled with people coming to faith in Jesus.
—Sunday night is our drama, “Unfinished; Unmasking The Message Of The Cross! This is a powerful 1-hour drama that reveals, in dialogue and video, the Magic Kingdom, the Tragic Kingdom and the REAL Kingdom. It only takes 4 people to do this performance, plus a media director and a spotlight assistant. It is a powerful call to the cross of Jesus, and a call for Christians to find their place and go to work in finishing the work of global evangelism. This drama has been well received everywhere we have offered this ministry to the church.
Much of American evangelism has become event evangelism. Events are a good way to engage the community with church activities. However, it often leaves many untrained and unprepared to share their story of salvation and lead others to a saving faith in Jesus. Therefore, we are not sharing a clear gospel with this culture. H.O.P.E. Outreach trains your congregation in the following:
- How to tell their personal story of salvation
- How to utilize the Roman Road scriptures to salvation
- How to pray the sinners prayer of repentance for salvation
These are tools to help believers build hearts toward God. When believers are equipped with tools in their tool box, they feel much more confidant about sharing this message of life that we find in Jesus.
Pastor and church leader, The Right To Invite Weekend is a powerful way to saturate your people in personal evangelism. You have an army in your church. We simply must organize, train and mobilize this army for true community influence. So much is at stake. The war for the hearts of men and women in your community are at stake. It is absolutely life or death depending on how we share the message of Jesus with our communities.
The miracle is in our mouth. The bible tells us that there is no other way that men can be saved, apart from hearing, understanding and responding to the message of hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. The question is, will we share this message of salvation in Jesus and let people know that there is no other way to heaven? We do not need the blood of humanity on our hands.(Ezekiel 3:18-19) Let us arise and go and share this gospel with everyone. We can, we should and we must! I am so excited about the possibility of partnership with you and your congregation.
Carpe Diem
